VALPOLICELLA WINE TOURS

Valpolicella with taste

Riding a bike among wineries and vineyards, in the homeland of Amarone

Riding a bike among large vineyards, dry stone walls and cypress rows, among manor villas and ancient Romanesque churches. Wineries visits with wine tastings: Amarone, Valpolicella and Recioto.

The Valpolicella area is well known all around the world for its extraordinary doc wines: the Amarone, the Valpolicella, the Ripasso and the Recioto. The wide territory, located north of the city of Verona, is characterized by large valleys that slope towards the plain land, reaching the Lake Garda east and the Alpone Creek Valley west. The slightly wavy landscape is mainly planted with vines, alternating with olive groves, fields and isolated cypress rows. The oil, especially in the area of the Lake Garda, is another refined product.

Our bike tour will guide you in the discovery of the most remote and evocative spots of this landscape, to encounter real, moving beauty. We will try to make this experience a precious memory: the poetry of the views, the elegant manor villas, the ancient rural sites, the dry stone walls, the wineries with their hidden cellars, the full-bodied wines you’ll taste and the congeniality of the people you’ll meet.

The slow and respectful tourism we offer aims at preserving our wonderful landscape, too many times violated and ignored in the past 50 years.
